Using Brute Force Interrupted the Peaceful Action of the Liberation Movement
The members of the Liberation Movement initiated a peaceful action in the public area of the Republic of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs building on December 10 at 10:00 am, demanding the Minister to refute or confirm Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s words that Artsakh belongs to Azerbaijan.
The RA Minister of Foreign Affairs or any plenipotentiary representative did not meet with the members of the Liberation Movement, did not give any explanation on regarding Nikol Pashinyan’s statement in the National Assembly, according to which the Armenian side has lost any theoretical or practical opportunity for Artsakh to be outside Azerbaijan.
Shortly afterwards, a brutal police force was launched against members of the Liberation Movement, 13 of whom were taken to various police stations.
We record that the police had committed illegal acts, arresting even current lawyers, and using force against members of the Liberation Movement.
The Liberation Movement considers that Nikol Pashinyan is pursuing an anti-Armenian policy. The Movement demands the resignation of the Prime Misnister and the President, as these two officials pose a threat to both Artsakh and the entire statehood of the Republic of Armenia.
Unfortunately, the Azerbaijani-Armenian military clash that took place yesterday and today in Gegharkunik region became a proof of what was said, as a result of which we had losses again.
The liberation movement continues the struggle to get rid of the anti-Armenian authorities and strengthen the Armenian statehood.
