On March 8, nine countries of the world (Armenia, Bahrain, the Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Cuba, Bangladesh, Togo, Egypt and Turkey) presented their relevant regional groups at the exhibition opened at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris and dedicated to International Women’s Day.
As reports the RA MFA press service to Hayern Aysor, painter Arev Petrosyan is representing Armenia at the exhibition, and Armenia is representing the regional group of Eastern Europe.
Among those attending the grand opening ceremony were Director-General of the UNESCO Irina Bokova, RA Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan, Ambassadors accredited to France, heads of national delegations to UNESCO, as well as public, political and cultural figures and journalists.
The guests had a chance to become familiar with traditional Armenian cuisine during the reception hosted as part of the event.
The exhibition will run until March 18.
