Pomegranate Trees Were Planted In Los Angeles On Occasion Of Armenian Genocide Centennial

On December 12, a tree planting ceremony was held at the park in North Hollywood at the initiative of member of Los Angeles City Council Paul Krekorian.

As reports “Armenpress”, 100 new trees were planted in place of the trees that have been recently damaged due to diseases and dryness. The participants of the ceremony also planted 15 pomegranate trees to remember and commemorate the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
