Major renovation of all schools in Armenia and their refurbishment will cost about one billion euros, education and science minister Armen Ashotyan said today at a parliamentary discussion on next year’s draft budget. He said this calculation had been made in 2012.
“Naturally, we can not afford such one-time costs,” he said.
Under the 2015 draft budget, the education will get 127.6 billion drams or 2.6% of the GDP, which is by 10% more than in the current year. ($ 1 – 411.21 drams).
