Kazakhstan’s leader has said that a decision on Armenia and Kyrgyzstan’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will be made in Minsk on October 10.
Norsultan Nazarbaev addressed the Eurasian Union integration perspectives as he talked to reporters after the negotiations on Ukraine in the Belarusian capital, newsmail.ru reports.
The Kazakh president is said to have met with local media representatives after midnight, the hour being considered considerably late for official meetings. According to the Russian website, it might be explained by the complicated nature and importance of the negotiations.
