On December 12, the Armenian community in the Argentine city of Rosario hosted a year-end meeting under the leadership of Director of the Armenian Center Juan Danielian, report Hayern Aysor’s sources in Argentina.
The goal of the annual event was to gather nearly 300 Armenians of Rosario to discuss the programs carried out throughout the year and indicate the future actions. The local Armenians delivered reports on the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
Among other participants were members of various organizations and institutions of the Armenian community of Buenos Aires; pastor of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church, Archimandrite Maghakia Amirian and Chairman of the Armenian Center and the Diocesan Center Alberto Jerejian.
Overall, there were 200 people attending the festive event. Cordoba’s Parvana Armenian Dance Ensemble performed Armenian dances for the attendees.
