Turkish publisher Ragıp Zarakolu, who had recognized the Armenian Genocide, was awarded with Denmark PL Foundation Peace award. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned citing DemokratHaber. According to the latter, the prize will be awarded on December 10.
The award is handed to Zarakolu for the huge efforts he made in the spheres of freedom of thought and expression, as well as human rights. He published many books about the Armenian Genocide. He has visited Armenia for several times, as well as the Armenian Genocide memorial complex.
