Christine Aprahamian Wins Second Place in Tokyo Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition

The project of Armenian architect Christine Aprahamian won the second place in Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition in Tokyo. This year’s theme of the annual competition is glass in architecture.

“Participation in the 2nd stage of this competition is very important for me in terms of professional growth. The main goal of the competition is to promote new architectural, designers’ ideas and solutions and in that respect all the presented projects were interesting,” Christine Aprahamian told “Armenpress”.

Christine Aprahamian, one of the co­authors of the new exhibition of the Armenian Genocide Museum­-Institute, has participated in the competition for the 3rd time. She participated 4 years ago, but could not pass to the 2nd stage and was awarded with Gratitude award. Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition has been organized since 1966 and it became international in 1976.
