The tenth episode of the third season of the award-winning American soap opera Ray Donovan is entitled “One Night in Yerevan”.
“One Night in Yerevan” is the title of a song about the Armenian Genocide that an Armenian singer by the name of Yasmig wants to perform on a famous American TV channel. The role of Yasmig is played by American actress Sarah Shahi, who is of Spanish and Iranian descent. Sarah is known for her roles in the films For Your Consideration and A Lot Like Love.
A small part of Armenian singer Sirusho’s song “Progomesh” is heard during the episode.
