The number of the Armenians, died in the result of the flooding in Tbilisi, is now four. The name of the fourth victim is known: Nana TilishviliEghiazarova. The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Balayan told Armenpress about it.
Earlier it was reported that according to the data provided by the Armenian Embassy to Georgia, three Armenians died in the result of the flooding in Tbilisi – Zhanna Eghiazarova, Svetlana Eghiazarova and Liana Eghiazarova.
As there are missing people, the number of the victims is changing.
We were informed by the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia that the bodies will be transferred to the St. Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi, where the requiem service will be held. The sisters lived in the Svaneti Street where the flood took place. The mud water filled their home and the sisters were unable to go out. The street is mainly Armenian populated.
