Two charged for running bribery scheme for military service exemption

The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia says it has discovered a scheme operated by a suspect who has organized the deferment or exemption from military service for five men for bribes ranging from 3000 dollars to 8000 dollars each by falsifying medical records.

According to a news release issued by the NSS, the suspect operated with an accomplice from a medical institution during the 2019 summer conscription period.

Two people are charged amid an investigation.
