Armenian minister of transport, communication and information technologies Vahan Martirosyan is taking part in the 12th annual meeting of the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Switzerland from December 18 to 21, the ministry told Armenpress.
Within the frames of the event the global issues on ICT governance, including a number of issues relating to digital governance and cyber-security were discussed.
The IGF is an international platform for high-ranking officials to discuss common ideas, exchange experience and etc.
The Forum is attended by officials from different countries who have an opportunity to share their national experience and the best practice of leading digital transformation, as well as to outline the main trends of partnership, investments and developments.
On the sidelines of this Forum, the Armenian minister will have meetings with high-ranking officials of different countries, as well as heads of ICT companies.
