Information Security Expert Samuel Martirosian says Azerbaijani authorities continue to block all possible information about their causalities.
“Azerbaijani authorities have a problem of keeping the sentiments of April events in a positive context within their public. We see that they block all the possible sources of information. For instance, they announce that the information on causalities is a secret. In fact, there is a ban on releasing such information. Moreover, they carry out a strong propaganda against Armenians as a nation trying to keep the aggressive tone,” Samuel Martirosian said, reports Armenpress.am.
“Meydan TV” released information on the Azerbaijani causalities, however, Samuel Martorosian says these kind of talks and publications are viewed as a betrayal of the nation in Azerbaijan, and their people prefer not to write about it. As a result, the state only provides information about their causalities which is still within the field of 30.
Referring to the existing developments related to May 9 in the information fields, Samuel Martirosian says in general we see inactivity. The main emphasis was based on the idea of restarting the military operations during holidays.
“There were talks within our public that Azerbaijan may restart the military operations on May 8-9. They have selected that idea as a target, and were constantly circulating that talks. It can be seen from the statement by Azerbaijani Defense Ministry that they want to do something so that Armenians will wait a war since expectation of death is cruel that death. This has been the main propaganda thesis in the last ten days, they work on it,” Samuel Martirosian added.
