Arthur Apraham Recognized as Germany’s best Boxer of the Year

Arthur Apraham has been recognized as Germany’s best boxer of the year, reports the athlete’s news service, according to NEWS.am Sport.

Based on the results of a vote held by the jury and readers of the German BoxSport magazine, the WBO world champion (in the super average weight category of professional boxing) garnered the maximum number of votes. The 35-year-old boxer is receiving this title for the seventh time.

Arthur Apraham’s coach Uli Vegner has been recognized as the best coach of the year for the 13th time.

Let us remind that Abraham’s next duel will be held on 9 April in Las Vegas where he will face off with 24-year-old Mexican boxer Gilberto Ramirez. Arthur Abraham’s last duel was held on 14 May 2012 in California where he lost to American boxer Andre Ward. His previous duel was held on 21 November 2015 in the German city of Hanover where he won English boxer Martin Murray.
