January 19th marks the ninth year of the murder of Istanbul-Armenian journalist, publicist and editor-in-chief of Istanbul’s Agos Armenian Weekly Hrant Dink. Today, on the day marking his death anniversary, a racist note was seen on the wall of the Galfayan Armenian School located in the Skyutar District of Istanbul, report Turkish presses, according to Akunq.net.
According to the source, the phrase “Armenian slave” was particularly written on the wall. Let us mention that manifestations of racism have been noticed in Turkey on the day of Dink’s murder in the past.
