Exhibition on Armenian Genocide is run in Pier Maria Rossi Museum of Parma, Italy. According to the story on TV Parma, photos of the famous German humanist Armin Wegner are displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition will be extended to August 2.
“Testimonies on the tragedy were saved in Wegner’s photos. He set a goal to tell the world what was happening in the deserts of Anatolia. Later he tried to stop Hitler in a letter addressed to him in 1933, following the first exterminations of Jews. Armenians and Jews consider Wegner a righteous man,” the story notes.
The son of Armin Wegner, Mischa Wegner, who also visited the exhibition, presented the book about his father entitled “Letter to Hitler.”
