Miss Katherine -HMADS Kindergarten Teacher
On Friday, June 12th, 2015 all of the hard work came together beautifully for the Nursery and Kindergarten Graduation. This was my first year as the Kindergarten teacher at HMADS and a teacher of a graduating class. I have never been apart of a graduation with such joy, love, and excitement as this one at HMADS. All of the students worked extremely hard throughout the year and now it was their time to shine. The students loved learning the songs and dances that they would even sing them in the classroom and at home to their friends and family members.
A quote from the audience Mrs. Doris Mazello: “The children performed to perfection their songs, poems, and dances; embracing their Armenian heritage, and displaying their bilingual skills in an atmosphere filled with warmth and love. Surely, not the usual Nursery Kindergarten performance indeed!” That couldn’t have been written more perfect. The students embraced their culture through their performances and are growing into model students.
Working collaboratively with Mrs. Ethel, Mrs. Socy, Mrs. Mark, Mrs. Ani, Miss Tracey, and Mrs. Crissy, the students learned how to put on a wonderful show while displaying their Armenian heritage. It has been a fantastic school year filled with growth and knowledge. I could not have asked for a better school year with such dedicated teachers and hard working students.

ՍՆԱՎ-ի Բողբոջ, Կոկոն եւ Ծաղիկ դասարաններու աշակերտներուն ամավերջի հանդէսն ու վկայականաց բաշխումը:
Նիւ-Եորքի Սրբոց Նահատակաց Ամէնօրեայ Վարժարանում – ՍՆԱՎ –
Հնչել է Ա.Մ.Ն.-ի և ՀՀ-ի Օրհներգերը՝ Բողբոջ, Կոկոն եւ
Ծաղիկ դասարանի Աշակերտների Շրթներից
Յունիսի 12-ին, Նիւ Եորքի Սրբոց Նահատակաց Ազգային վարժարանում տեղի ունեցաւ ՝ Բողբոջ, Կոկոն և Մանկապատէզի՝ թիւով 36 երեխաների այս տարուայ աւարտական հանդէսը։
Բացման աղօթքը կատարեց, ցերեկոյթի պատուաւոր հիւր, Նիւ Եորքի Սբ․Լուսաւորիչ Մայր եկեղեցու հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Մեսրոպ քհնյ. Լագիսեանը։ Դրօշների ներս բերման արարողութիւնից յետոյ հնչեցին ԱՄՆ ի և Հ. Հ. օրհներգերը։Յայտագրում տեղ էին գտել մանկական խմբերգեր, հայկական պարեր և արտասանութիւններ։ Դպրոցի տնօրինութեան և ծնողների կողմից բարձր գնահատականի արժանացան վարժարանի մանկավարժները, որոնք ջանասիրութեամբ աշխատանք են տանում նախադպրոցական տարիքի երեխաների հետ։ Երեխաներին յանձնեցին նաև այս տարուայ աւարտական վկայականներ։
– «Մեր մաղթանքն է, որ բոլոր հայ երիտասարդ ծնողները արթնանան, գիտակցեն և իրենց զաւակները բերեն հայ դպրոց՝ հայեցի կրթութիւն ստանալու։ Կը մաղթեմ որ աւելի աշակերտութիւն ունենանք»– ասաց վարժարանի տնօրէնուհի՝ Զարմինէ Պօղոսեանը։ Ցերեկոյթը աւարտուեց ծնողների կողմից պատրաստուած կարկանդակով, որը նուիրուած էր օրուայ միջոցառմանը։
Ցերեկոյթը աւարտուեց Սրբոց Նահատակաց եկեղեցու հովիւ՝ արժանապատիւ Տէր Աբրահամ քհնյ. Մալխասեանի մաղթանքներով։
