Armenia’s Government approved the proposal to sign number 9 amendment of assistance agreement over “More competitive and diversified private sector” between the governments of Armenia and the US, reports “Armenpress”.
Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan said it is expected to allocate additional 4 million 800.000 USD finance, in case of which the total amount of grants provided by the US will comprise 61 million 136.000 USD.
“According to the information by the USAID, 4.8 million USD will be allocated to finance the ongoing 6 programs, particularly, “Partnership for Rural Prosperity”, “Advanced Rural Development Initiative”, “Cultural Tourism in Armenia”, “Support for Agribusiness Teaching Center”, the Minister said.
