Diaspora Armenian businessmen are interested in making investments in Artsakh. Today, during a press conference, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serj Srabionian stated, that the RA Ministry of Diaspora is receiving responses from Diaspora Armenian businessmen and is working consistently with them, reports Hayernaysor.am.
“The Ministry of Diaspora has already received letters from well-known Diaspora Armenian businessmen stating that they want to learn about the opportunities for making investments in Artsakh and which branches of the economy are key branches. We maintain close contacts with the Government of Artsakh and the institutions in charge of implementing investment programs. We have already presented several proposals, but it should be mentioned that, in that sense, the Ministry of Diaspora serves as a link,” Serj Srabionian said.
The Deputy Minister of Diaspora informed that the Ministry envisages creating an opportunity for Diaspora Armenian businessmen ready to make investments to visit Artsakh and learn about the investment programs in the country. The businessmen will be introduced to the sectors in which they can make investments and contribute to Artsakh’s economic development.
“We strongly support the idea that Artsakh is important. Many understand that they are not only making an investment, but also contributing to Artsakh’s reinforcement. In fact, the emphasis will also be placed on the development of tourism in Artsakh. From the perspective of the development of tourism, Artsakh has many opportunities to offer,” Serj Srabionian added.
