On September 28, on the occasion of the Blessing of the Holy Muron, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin held a fine arts exhibition-sale with the title “Holy Muron”. Proceeds will be used to take care of the needs of Syrian-Armenians.
The exhibition-sale is organized through the combined efforts of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Union of Artists of Armenia and showcases nearly 40 paintings devoted to religion and created by contemporary Armenian painters and sculptors, reports the information service of the Mother See.
Among those attending the opening of the exhibition were His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Godfather of the Holy Muron, Mr. Haig Titizian and members of the Titizian family, as well as leaders of dioceses, benefactors and Armenian pilgrims visiting the Mother See on the occasion of the Blessing of the Holy Muron.
The opening ceremony included performances of spiritual songs by Vahe Begoyan’s Saghmosergu All-Male Choir.
