The volume of foreign currency purchased by the Central Bank of Armenia reached an unprecedented figure in the history of the country – 521.8 million USD, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook, adding that this figure proves about the great volume of inflow of foreign currency to Armenia.
“This figure shows the large inflow of foreign currency into Armenia which is a bright reflection of a financial stability, creates new opportunities for the business, increases the availability of financial resources”, the PM said.
Pashinyan said the 521.8 million USD is an unprecedented figure and situation for Armenia’s history.
