Lawrence Meredith, Director for Neighbourhood East, Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission presented 3 reasons for investing in Armenia during a press conference dedicated to the 2nd anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU.
“First, we see quite an ambitious vision on reforms by the Prime Minister and the Government of Armenia, which include reforms in justice sphere, overcoming corruption and state administration reforms. Second, Armenia is a country famous for innovative solutions. Innovations are placed just in the hearts of Armenians. And third, we have to invest in the youth, since people are the future of Armenia and they are wise and bright young people”, Lawrence Meredith said.
