Armenian President Armen Sarkissian proposed his Greek counterpart to hold the next Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral meeting in Armenia.
“I proposed Mr. President to consider the possibility to hold the Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral meeting in Armenia next year in July which will be attended by state officials, Diaspora representatives, and we will be able to develop a cooperation program”, Armen Sarkissian said during a joint press conference with President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos in Yerevan.
On June 4, 2019 the 1st Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral meeting with the participation of the foreign ministers was held in Nicosia.
President of Greece Procopios Pavlopolos together with spouse Vlassia Pavlopoulou arrived in Armenia on an official visit on November 5 at the invitation of President Sarkissian.
