Referendum on Constitutional reforms to be held on December 6, 2015

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, issued a decree on holding the referendum on Constitutional reforms on December 6, 2015.

As  the Department of Information and Mass Media of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, the decree reads,

“Guided by the 2nd and 5th points of the 111th article of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, recognizing as basis the 6th point of the 7th article of the Republic of Armenia “Law on Referendum”, and the approval of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Armenia to hold a referendum on Republic of Armenia draft Constitution by the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, I decide

1. To schedule the referendum on Constitutional reforms of the Republic of Armenia on December 6, 2015.
2. The decree enters into force on the next day of its official publication”.
