During the Commemoration of the 24th.Anniversary of the Armenian Republic, organized by Mrs. Hilda Diruhi Burmaian, Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Sao Paulo, and the presence of the Ambassador Mr. Ashot Galoyan, the Golden Medal of the Ministry of the Diaspora sent by the Minister Hranuch Hakobyan was granted to Mr. Ochin Leon Mosditchian. This award was due for serving during many years the Armenian Community of São Paulo, in several institutions. In the same occasion awards were given to the five best works of a Literary Contest about the Centenary of the Armenian Genocide open to all the students of Brazilian Universities. The Cetenary Commision organized this contest.
